Roles & Responsibilities

  • As Manager: Agile Practices, my duties / responsibilities were:

  • Establishing, building out, growing and managing Agile Practices at Cuscal, coaching 9 agile delivery teams (with the help of two more agile coaches who reported to me).

  • Acting as PMO Advisor to (and working with) the PMO Practice Lead, successfully defining and embedding the necessary frameworks to ensure value delivery capability across all programs and projects in Cuscal –regardless of the methodology followed on those programs and projects.

  • Providing guidance and mentorship to the other agile coaches, delivery managers and project managers in Cuscal.

  • Mentoring and coaching teams in adopting Agile ways-of-working and achieving broader transformation goals.

  • Playing a hands-on role by actively identifying areas of improvement, conceptualizing methods to be more efficient and to drive change across the organization.

  • Designing and facilitating team level workshops that generated focused outcomes.

  • Contributing to building the knowledge bank & resources as needed including training materials for various role types.

  • Delivering training, coaching and guidance to teams and individuals through demonstrating and delivering inception workshops, retrospectives, estimation sessions and resource allocation and effort management.

  • Supporting teams to work efficiently, improve transparency and enhance collaboration across the business.

  • Providing consultation to help raise and tackle complex impediments and achieve outcomes faster.

  • All of the above was done under the umbrella of an initiative which I started at this client as “Value Delivery Uplift”, which got endorsed by the entire team of Executives (CxO's), and which spanned not only the Technology division, but also the Business and Operations divisions.
