Roles & Responsibilities

  • Successfully  established an EPMO from the ground up and defined, established and embedded all required governance structures, Communities of Practice, methodologies, templates, examples and a well-defined operating rhythm across multiple business units and divisions of an ASX-listed company.

  • Successfully  rolled out a number of organizational policies and procedures across various project management disciplines, i.e. effective risk and issue management, project initiation and planning, dependency management, project status reporting and project financial management.

  • Successfully established and headed up a portfolio and project management Community of Practice, mainly utilized for mentoring and coaching in excess of 50 project managers across various business units, collectively managing projects with a total end-to-end budget of $200M+.

  • Successfully established and embedded scheduling guidelines across 8 different projects which collectively formed the “OPTUS-nbn-program of work”;

  • Successfully refined and reconfigured the project planning tool in use by the 8 project managers (Microsoft Project Server 2013);

  • Successfully redefined and deployed the dependency management policy across 8 projects; and

  • Successfully mentored and coached 8 project managers on best practices for project scheduling, and owned and maintained the master schedule for the program of work.
